Five Senses Workshops: Sound - Abstract Painting

Sounds abound in and around the park, from the buzzing bees to buzzing traffic. First we will slow down and take in all the sounds, observe, and listen. Next is to create an abstract painting/print using non-traditional objects such as sticks, springs, fabric, and other materials that will be provided – you will create a painting as inspired by the sounds you encounter in and around the park.

Class taught by Artist Paul Ferrara and will begin at the Art Cart, on the Fifth Avenue Terrace in front of the New York Public Library.
